Dr Sander Smeets

Dr. Sander Smeets is a gastroenterologist and therapeutic endoscopist with a particular interest in advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic resection, third-space endoscopy (POEM/G-POEM), and the management of complex gastrointestinal neoplasia. His clinical practice combines high-volume therapeutic endoscopy with research and education, with a strong focus on improving endoscopic quality, training, and innovation. He regularly teaches endoscopy to trainees and colleagues and is actively involved in advancing minimally invasive endoscopic techniques.
