Dr Mariana Figueiredo Ferreira

Dr. Mariana Figueiredo is a gastroenterologist and digestive oncologist based in Belgium. Her clinical interests focus on advanced endoscopic resection techniques, including EMR, ESD, and FTRD, which she trained in through fellowships at high-volume centers in Portugal and France. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications, mainly in the field of advanced endoscopy, and has presented her work at multiple national and international meetings. Fluent in Portuguese, French, English, and Spanish, she enjoys working in international and multidisciplinary environments. Alongside her clinical, research, and teaching activities, she is increasingly interested in quality, sustainability and ecological transition in healthcare.
