Dr Lobke Desomer

Dr. Lobke Desomer graduated as a Gastroenterologist at the University of Ghent in 2015. In 2015 she left for a 2 and a half year fellowship in Sydney Australia under the lead of her mentor Professor Michael Bourke. In this time she learned mainly about resection techniques such as EMR of large colonic lesions. Many publications in this area followed, as well as oral and poster presentations at both DDW and UEGW.
