Dr Isabelle De Kock

Dr Isabelle De Kock is an abdominal radiologist at Ghent University Hospital, Belgium, with a clinical and academic focus on gastrointestinal imaging, particularly inflammatory bowel disease. She is a Fellow and a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and serves on the ESGAR Research Committee. She has been Scientific Coordinator of the ESGAR Masterclass in Small Bowel Imaging since 2022 and also coordinates the joint ECCO-ESGAR-IBUS imaging workshops at the ECCO Annual Meeting. In 2025, she received the ESGAR Rising Star Award. Her research focuses on cross-sectional imaging in Crohn’s disease, and she has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications, international guidelines, and consensus initiatives in inflammatory bowel disease imaging.
