Prof Alexander Arlt

Prof. Alexander Arlt graduated from Christian Albrecht University in Kiel and then received his medical training in internal medicine, intensive medicine, gastroenterology and endoscopy at the university hospital of Kiel Germany under the guidance of Prof. Fölsch, Prof. Schreiber and Prof. Fritscher-Ravens. He was head of gastroenterology and endoscopy at the university hospital in Oldenburg from 2020-2023 and was appointed to his current position as head of the medical clinic of the Israelitisches Krankenhaus Hamburg in 2024. The focus of the clinical and scientific work is endoscopic management of hepato-pancreatico-biliary diseases, early cancer and motility disorders.
